Jake Keeton & Reo Raijin Segment
Raijin Attacks Keeton
WCF's Final ONE returns to ringside and the camera pans around before stopping on two time WCF Television Champion Jake Keeton and his beautiful wife seated in the front row. A graphic pops up on the screen acknowledging the retired legend.
Zach Davis: That's Jake Keeton, he's a former WCF TV champion and of course the father of Action Wrestling Cruiserweight standout JC Keeton.
Bobby Cairo: We can't just pan past a man who had the kind of career Jake had and not get a few words with him on a night like this, let's get Hank Brown out here…
Hank, mic in hand, makes his way to where Jake is seated to a louder pop than some of the wrestlers.
Hank Brown: Ladies and gentlemen I'm Hank Brown on the scene here at the very Final WCF ONE to get a word with former Television Champion Jake Keeton. How are you Mr. Keeton?
Jake stands up and speaks into the mic as Hank holds it in front of him.
Jake Keeton: I could be worse, I could be better too if this old knee wasn't shot and I could have accepted the offer I got to get in the ring tonight.
Hank Brown: That's interesting, who was the offer to face?
Jake Keeton: JJ Biggs.
Hank Brown: Wow! It's a shame the fans had to miss out on that. What is your fondest memory of your time in WCF Jake?
Jake thinks for a few seconds.
Jake Keeton: My feud with a young Donald "D-Day" Deruty definitely stands out, I never dreamed that kid would go on to be a World Champion. A close second would be my son kicking Adam Young in the shin when he was 10 years old. I watch the clips of that floating around YouTube all the time and it never gets old.
Hank Brown: I remember that well, now what are your thoughts on…
The arena lights dim.
Zach Davis: What is going on?
Wolf Totem by The Hu feat. Jacoby Shaddix begins to play as the music begins to pick up as the camera changes from that of Jake Keeton to the entrance way. The crowd’s reaction begins to grow from across the arena where Jake Keeton sits. The camera quickly turns panning into the crowd as Action Wrestling’s man of many masks is seen walking through the crowd. When he comes to the ringside barrier he motions for a microphone as he jumps over the railing. He walks ringside towards where Jake and his wife are sitting and stands momentarily in front of them. Raijin then turns and rolls into the ring and comes to a stop center ring as his theme quiets and the ire of the crowd intensifies.
Bobby Cairo: That's Reo Raijin! He's made his contempt for the Keeton family known for the last few months. What's he doing out here?
Jake Keeton just shrugs his shoulders and sits back down.
Reo Raijin: Oh, Jakey don’t sit down.
He begins waving his hand towards the center of the ring.
Reo Raijin: It’s your night. It’s the final WCF moment that you’re ever going to have. No reason we can’t talk like men.
Keeton stands back up and a few members of the security team move the barricade to the side allowing Jake with the assistance of a cane to make his way towards the ring. He walks up the steel steps with a slight limp before entering the ring smirking at the masked man before him. Although he doesn't have a mic you can clearly hear what Jake has to say.
Jake Keeton: I don't know what you want kid but here I am.
Raijin eyes Jake as he slowly raises the microphone before speaking.
Reo Raijin: Looks like you hurt yourself getting out of the tub this morning? Nevermind. That’s not a question. I mean you’re the great Jake Keeton. The Future… has been put out to pasture, apparently. I thought ol’ JJ Biggs milked his career but again I think you’ve got him beat.
Jake shakes his head in frustration and shrugs.
Jake Keeton: I dunno what the point you're trying to prove is but we're holding up the show. I'm going back to my seat.
Jake turns to exit the ring. Raijin grabs him by the shoulder forcing him to turn back around as he speaks.
Reo Raijin: My point is rather simply Jakey. Your son isn’t here but we are.
Raijin kicks the cane out from under Jake and sends it flying out of the ring. Keeton stumbles but doesn't fall using the ropes to hold himself up as he stares daggers through Raijin.
Zach Davis: What is wrong with this guy?
Raijin tosses Jake his microphone and as he catches it he kicks his leg out from under him sending him to the canvas. He grabs Jake by the hair and begins pummeling him with his fist and then picks up the microphone and begins beating him with it.
Bobby Cairo: What the hell is he doing?
Raijin rolls out of the ring pulling Jake by the leg and wrapping it around the ring post. He looks out towards the crowd and then slams his knee against the post. Jake in obvious pain grabs his knee and rolls in the ring attempting to get away.
Zach Davis: Oh come on! It's well documented that Jake Keeton had a total knee replacement after his final match in 2016.
Bobby Cairo: He's probably going to need another one after this.
Raijin walks around the ring and pulls the ring announcer out of the steel chair and folds it in half as he tosses it over the top rope. He then rolls back into the ring and picks the chair up standing over Keeton. He then slams the chair onto his knee and takes a moment to bend down to yell at him as it’s heard throughout the ringside area.
“I’m not done yet, Jakey.”
Raijin then lifts the chair and slams it down onto his knee yet again. Before slamming it onto his leg for a third time he looks out towards his wife and stares at her as he drops the chair after the final blow. He then begins kicking Jake in the knee, midsection, and then once in the face.
Zach Davis: Someone needs to stop this!
The man in the mask then rolls out of the ring and raises the ring apron. He pulls out a table from under the ring and begins setting it up on the outside. Raijin rolls back into the ring and grabs a handful of Jake's hair pulling him up to his feet.
Bobby Cairo: Stop dammit just stop.
The American Luchador holds Jake as he yells out towards the audience.
“Has he had enough?”
Raijin shrugs as he throws him over the top rope sending him crashing to the floor as he comes down awkwardly on his good knee. Raijin again grabs the microphone as he rolls out of the ring. He stands over Jake and again kicks him in the face. He pulls him to his feet and places him on top of the table. He then climbs up onto the apron and to the top turnbuckle. As he looks down at Jake he lifts the microphone as he begins to speak.
Reo Raijin: I’m going to bury you with J.C.’s mom while your wife watches.
He drops the microphone and comes off the top turnbuckle onto Jake sending him through the table. Raijin rolls to his back and as he’s looking up he sees Jake’s wife who had jumped over the guardrail and was running towards her husband. Before he reaches him Raijin grabs her by the arm and spins her around and he sprays a purple mist into her eyes and then shoves her towards her husband.
Zach Davis: Purple mist in the eyes of Jake Keeton's wife! Enough is enough.
He again grabs the microphone and lifts it as he begins talking.
Reo Raijin: Baby boy Keeton. Do I have your attention now?
Zach Davis: This was all to get the attention of JC Keeton who had been ignoring Reo for months.
Bobby Cairo: When he finds out about what Reo Raijin just did to his father and step-mother I feel sorry for what JC is going to do to this masked monster.
He drops the microphone and looks over towards the fallen Jake Keeton. He then turns and looks out towards the crowd before walking up the entrance as he exits the arena.
