CJ Phoenix & Reo Raijin vs. Captain Action & Sara Pettis
Adilene Floyd: The following contest is a Tag Team Match set for one fall...
"Zombie (Lost Sky Remix)" by The Cranberries starts up and Sara Pettis makes her way out onto the stage, an enthusiastic a few steps behind her before The CAPTAIN runs full speed towards the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and strikes his best superhero pose in the middle of the ring. CAP then makes his way to the corner, climbing the turnbuckle and waving to the crowd. . Sara chuckles and she excitedly moves from side to side of the ramp to slap hands with lots of fans.
Adilene Floyd: Making their way to the ring first at a combined weight of 297lbs the team of The Child of Fate… SARA PETTIS! And CAPTAIN ACTION!
Once she reaches the ring, she looks up at the ring where her partner stands with a smile, then slides in and basks in the admiration from the fans.
Jimmy Garcia: Holy Unity JJ! It appears Sara Pettis and Captain Action are on the same page for sure as they came out together.
JJ Biggs: That’s a good sign for them but the real test is when the bell rings.
Adilene Floyd: And their opponents, first originally from Yamanashi, Japan he is “The San FranPsycho” Reo Raijin!
The arena dims to complete darkness. "Kingdom" - Downstait begins to play and a red center spotlight appears at the top of the middle ramp with Raijin standing front and center, back turned to the crowd. He slowly spins to face the crowd, banging his head along to the music. He stares wide-eyed at the crowd who seems unsure of what to make of him. Raijin looks back and forth at each side of the crowd, before running towards the ring. He jumps up and slides under the bottom rope and does a roll into the standing position on the opposite side of the ring. He turns in a circle bringing his right hand up to his throat and his left arm raised in the air. He spits a red mist into the air and then spreads his arms out to his sides as his music comes to an end.
Jimmy Garcia: Quite an impressive start to the AW career of Reo Raijin last week with a big win in his debut.
JJ Biggs: He’s definitely someone to keep an eye on but he should probably not try going straight for the top cause it’s a long fall.
"Break My Baby" Echoes through the stadium as the camera rotates around. Seconds later, CJ Phoenix walks out and stops at the middle of the ramp, stretching his arms out while lowering his head.
Adilene Floyd: And his partner making his way to the ring, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana...weighing in at 201lbs...CJ Phoenix!
As the chorus begins, he raises up his head and his hands, directing them skyward. Then, he slowly lowers his arms and looks around at the arena. A sinister smile grows on his face as he walks to the ring. Once inside, he hops on the turnbuckle and looks around, breaking out in a maniacal laugh in the process.
Jimmy Garcia: HERE WE GO!
DING DING DING
Each team decides who will start and it appears as Phoenix and CAP will kick things off for their respective teams as the bell rings. They go to lock up but CJ goes under the outstretched arm of Captain and he hooks him up and tosses him to the other side of the ring with an Exploder. He tags out to Raijin. Reo scoops up Captain Action and drops him with a nasty Brainbuster before tagging back out.
Jimmy Garcia: Big moves and quick tags, this is sound strategy by Phoenix and Raijin.
JJ Biggs: It’s also smart to isolate the less experienced member of the opposition.
CJ pulls Cap back to his feet and whips him to the ropes and on the rebound Cap ducks a clothesline attempt and spins CJ around hitting a Snapmare before dropping a knee to the small of the back. Action goes for the tag but a grounded CJ Phoenix latches on to the mask man's leg preventing the tag.
Jimmy Garcia: Captain Action looking to turn the tide here in the early going but he really needs to make the tag.
JJ Biggs: Smart play by CJ Phoenix to prevent that.
Phoenix grapevines the leg and tries to drag the Captain away from his corner but he kicks him off and Captain Action flips forwards and tags the hand of Sara Pettis to a huge pop. She hits a Flipping Neckbreaker on Phoenix then immediately takes Raijin who had run into the ring back out with a Flying Headscissors.
Jimmy Garcia: Whoa Momma! Sara Pettis is like a house of fire.
Sara coaxes an unaware CJ Phoenix to his feet and she spikes him right on his head with a her Ice Pick Piledriver.
Jimmy Garcia: BOOMSHAKALAKA! She planted him that could be it.
JJ Biggs: Did you just channel Tim Kitzrow?
Jimmy Garcia: Who?
JJ Biggs: Nevermind, only one other person got the joke.
Pettis makes the cover.

NO! Reo makes the save, but that brings Captain Action back in and the two masked men start exchanging chops and kicks while the referee tries to restore order.
Jimmy Garcia: Sara Pettis was a split second from winning this for her team.
The ref finally gets the illegal men out of the ring and it’s back to just Pettis and Phoenix who has had a little time to recover from being planted on his head and he goes for a Spinning Heel Kick but Sara ducks under a sweeps the legs before hitting a standing Shooting Star Press. Phoenix powers out at one. Sara gets to her feet and CJ knips up and they go nose to nose.
JJ Biggs: Don’t kiss her bro it’s a death sentence ask the last guy.
Jimmy Garcia: JJ! That’s tasteless.
JJ Biggs: I bet it tastes like self doubt and poor life choices.
Phoenix turns and tags in Raijin who flips over the top rope and he too gets right in the face of Sara Pettis and she just headbutts him right in the nose. He flicks a trickle of blood off his lip with his tounge and smiles before blasting her with a series of stiff European Uppercuts.
Jimmy Garcia: There’s something dark about this Raijin guy. I don’t know if I like that.
JJ Biggs: If he keeps chasing the cornerstone of the division you won’t have to worry about him long.
A huge Backhand Chop takes The Child of Fate off her feet and Reo stomps her a few times for good measure before going to the top rope. He flips off into a 450 Splash but she rolls out of the way and makes the tag to Captain Action who flies in and rolls up a prone Raijin.
Jimmy Garcia: This could be it!
CJ Phoenix is quick to break up the pin. Raijin and Action both return to their feet and Cap kicks Reo in the gut and when he doubles over Captain Action goes for a DDT but Raijin blocks it and shoves him away. Captain Action comes back at him and Reo scoops him up and drops him with Emerald Flowsion. He tags in CJ Phoenix and he comes in off the top rope with a Phx Splash!
Jimmy Garcia: MOMMA MIA PHOENIX SPLASH-A-RIA!
One!
Two!
Three!!
Phoenix and Raijin are the winners!!
They get up and Raijin pats him on the back and jumps up to the middle turnbuckles and starts celebrating! Phoenix pumps his fist a few times and leans on the ropes as he's victorious!
Jimmy Garcia: What a match! You gotta love it!
We fade to a commercial break.
